Random News And Goings-On
Another week of not much reading and not much blogging. I took of Friday to celebrate our wedding anniversary a day early and that was fun. We ate and shopped and I got some new clothes that I didn’t really need but was happy to stuff into my overly stuffed closet anyway. 😉 I also got some new tea, yay! Trying to catch up on some reading this weekend but so far not much luck, spent Saturday being extremely lazy, stuffing myself with too much food (totally went off my diet nooooo I was doing so good) and watching a Kdrama. I’m hoping that today is the day I can get back into the swing of things but I guess we’ll see. I really need to do something because I’m starting to fall behind. Ugh. I hate being behind. Let the guilt trip begin.
New Book Arrivals at Way Too Fantasy
Physical Books
A few new arrivals yet again! My owlcreate book was The Guilded Ones by Namina Forna. The cover to this book is gorgeous! I was excited this was an owlcrate book because it was already on my list. They’ve been knocking it out of the park lately with their selections as far as I’m concerned. Next up I ordered some more hardcover Discworld books from the UK, these are two that have come out since my husband bought me all that were out a couple of Christmases ago. Last but not least, All the Murmuring Bones by A.G. Slatter–had to buy this one after reading Lynn from Lynn’s Books review of it.
I also received these special edition hardbacks of the Lady Astronaut books by Mary Robinette Kowal from Anderida Books. These are gorgeous editions and I’m very luck and grateful to have been able to purchase them.

I’m trying hard to eat healthy, I don’t have many issues during the week, I feel like the weekend is my downfall but especially an anniversary weekend since my husband and I like to celebrate with food lol.
I feel the same about the weekend, Friday or Saturday I must have a takeaway food to reward me after a long working week. And on an anniversary weekend you must celebrate with food! 👏👏

Those Lady Astronaut books are gorgeous! I don’t think I’ve ever bought anything from Anderida. Now of course I am going to check them out😁 I wouldn’t worry too much about being behind. As long as you are having fun! Happy anniversary😁
This was my first purchase from them. I understand they do special editions similar to Goldsboro. I really lucked into these (they were pricey but I’m really happy with them so I’m not going to complain LOL).

Lol at buying clothes you don’t need. I keep doing the same, mostly with shoes though, and it doesn’t make sense since I have nowhere to go lol.
I love the hardcover editions of the Discworld books. I feel bad about highlighting in them when I read them. Wish they were illustrated.
Yeah and my work is *super* casual, like jeans and tshirt casual, but I’m like ‘yes, I’ll take this fancy blouse because it’s on sale $10 please and thank you’ LOL. Why? I don’t know. Sometimes shopping fills a need, I guess.
I also love those HC Discworlds! Hey, if they’re your books don’t feel bad how you treat them. 🙂 It would be really cool if they were illustrated.

Yes, I’m in love with those LA books–the covers are so good and the paper quality is great too–they did a great job with them.
