On to the tag, huzzah!
How Many Books Do You Usually Read At Once?
Usually two but sometimes as many as three. I almost always am reading a book via audiobook and a print and/or ebook at the same time now days. I usually don’t have any issues getting confused between books either because I make sure the stories are different enough. I’d never try to read two different epic fantasies at the same time, for example, or two urban fantasies, or two historical romance novels.
How Do You Decide When To Switch Between Multiple Reads?
Well, usually since I’m reading an audio and an ebook/print book it’s dictated by what type of environment I’m in. If I’m home I’m rarely listening to audio (unless it’s something I’m REALLY into), I listen to books at work and during my commute mostly. If I’m home I’m usually reading my ebook/print book. If I have two ebooks/print books then it’s whatever I’m in the mood for.
Do You Ever Switch Bookmarks Partway Through A Book?
Yes! Only because I misplace them. And even though I have a lot of nice actual bookmarks I usually end up using random pieces of paper as bookmarks.
Where Do You Keep the Book(s) Youโre Currently Reading?
Usually they’re on my phone, but if it’s a print book then it’s usually never far from my person — either in my purse or sitting out next to me on a table.
What Time Of Day Do You Read The Most?
All times? I read at night before bed. But on the weekends I tend to read mostly in the mornings. But also during the week I listen to audiobooks during the day while I’m at work. Really, anytime I get a chance.
How Long Do You Typically Read In One Session?
It really depends! I tend to read whenever I get a free moment so it can vary between five minutes to several hours. Given a day off with nothing to do, however, I could probably spend several hours happily reading in one go.
Do You Read Hardbacks With the Dust Jacket Off?
Most of the time, no, but every once in a while I’ll be reading a hardback and the dust jacket will be sliding around getting on my nerves until I get angry and remove it. ๐
What Position Do You Mainly Use To Read?
Mostly sitting upright in a chair. I read a lot at work while listening to audiobooks, and then at home I read sitting on my sofa or my glider outside. I do also read in bed while laying down but usually not for long before I get too sleepy and have to put my book down.
Do You Take Your Current Read With You Everywhere You Go?
Absolutely! I read a lot on my phone these days and I’m rarely without that, but I even take print books with me when I’m reading them. I have a large purse and I like big pockets too–great for carrying books.
How often Do You Update Your Goodreads Reading Progress?
I try to do it daily, but sometimes I’ll miss a day. I like to update it as often as I can though so it makes me feel like I’m getting something done, lol.
Tagging Merline, Brittany, Zezee, Consu, and anyone else who wants to grab this one!
I do the same thing of reading different books in different formats! Especially because there are situations where audiobooks are more practical or where I can’t bring electronics somewhere.
Thanks for the tag!
Yes, exactly. ๐
You’re welcome!
Those audiobooks really come in handy at work, especially if it’s a dull day.
Thanks for the tag! I’ve already done this one but I might redo it because some stuff have changed.
Yeah, audiobooks have really helped my reading productivity!
Yep to two books – helped a lot more these days by the fact I’m now using audio too. I’m terrible at updating GRs.

I feel like updating goodreads is the only thing that makes me.feel like I’m making progress some days lol!
I’m the same way! Usually one “real” book and one audiobook and unless I am really into the audiobook I usually only listed to it in the car! Thanks for the tag!
You’re welcome!
EXCUSE ME WHILE I SOB IN THE CORNER! Thank you so much for your kind words and recommending my blog, Lisa!!! You are so sweet.
I am honestly impressed with people that can listen to audiobooks at work. I tried a couple of times and either zoned out on the book or got no work done! I love audiobooks though and hope to be in a more conducive listening environment more frequently. I never thought that I would miss having a commute, but were we are.
Aww, you’re welcome! โค
I can't listen to them all the time it depends what I'm working on but I deal with spreadsheets and other mundane tasks alot so I usually get in 2-3 hours worth a day at least. Yeah, if I didn't have my commute it would also cut down on my audiobooks a lot.
