Yeah, I used to love this book back in the day. And as much as I LOVE McCaffrey some of her stuff is just dated, cringe-worthy, and kind of problematic. Overall, there are still things I love about this one but I know if I reread it there are things that would ruin it for me too. On the shelf it stays.

Beethoven’s 3rd Symphony. No, seriously. I love this and I often listen to it while I’m reading. It’s Beethoven so it’s not exactly relaxing, but it’s just so beautiful, I love listening to it. 🙂

I really love the Belgariad by Eddings, such fun books when I was younger. They don’t quite hold up these days, I think, but still good fun.

I thought Anne McCaffrey’s books were problematic when I first read them (and I was like 14, so what did I know?) so I can’t imagine I’d have a good time reading them now. 😀 I did like her Harper Hall series, though!
Yes, the Harper Hall series is great and I think that one probably holds up pretty well (it’s been a while! Lol)
