NEXT READ

lw-cover

Hmm, this is hard to say because I’m usually reading more than one book at a time and I’m in a HUGE mood reading vibe at the moment, but I’m pretty sure my next audio will be Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey. It’s the only book on my July TBR list that I haven’t gotten to yet! 🙂

NEXT 5 STAR READ

ne-cover

I CAN’T BELIEVE I STILL HAVEN’T READ THIS YET, DAMN MY MOOD. Okay, sorry, I just…really hate 2020 and what’s happened to my reading. Anywho. I’m pretty sure I’m going to LOVE Network Effect by Martha Wells because it’s Murderbot and I love Murderbot. ❤

NEXT 1 STAR READ

Oooh, I don’t 1 star books hardly ever and honestly very rarely 2 star a book come to think of it. I think I just try to read things that I know I’ll like so I tend to have a lot of 4 star reads more than anything. So my prediction for this is that it will be a year or two before I have a 1 star read. 😀

NEXT LOVE INTEREST (OR CHARACTER THAT SEEMS REALLY COOL TO YOU)

us-cover

I’m really excited for Kate Elliott’s Unconquerable Sun and I can’t believe that I’m mood reading other books right now instead of picking this one up as soon as it was released since it feels like I’ve been waiting several years for it haha. So I don’t know about love interest but I’m very keenly interested in the main character for this one as it’s billed as a genderbent Alexander the Great novel (in space!). So Princess Sun has got to be pretty cool and interesting, right?

NEXT BOOK YOU’LL BE BUYING

pt-cover

There are several that just came out or are coming out this month that I want to pick up but didn’t have the funds avail/credits so am waiting just a bit. But I think my next book purchase will be Peace Talks by Jim Butcher as soon as my audible credits come in.

TAGGING:

Not going to tag anyone of this but if you feel like filling it out then consider yourself tagged! 🙂

And…those are my predictions. It looks like I have a lot of Science Fiction in my future, which is great because I’ve been wanting to read more Science Fiction for ages. It also looks like I’m playing catch up with new releases for the most part–such is the book blogger life lol.

Ooh I might do this tag. Its quick and easy😁 Although the 1 star read question is weird. If you thought a book was going to be one star, why would you even pick it up?

Pssst. *looks around* *leans in to whisper* I haven’t read Network Effect, either.

Phew, it feels good to get that off my chest. You’re definitely not alone. I’m not sure why I haven’t read it yet, either … except that I still need to read the last two novellas, so I guess that’s a good reason. Also, I’m a slacker.

I’ve actually never read a Jim Butcher book, either, but I really want to because I’ve heard such good things about it. It’s just so daunting because the series is so long at this point.

Yeah, I was so excited about Network Effect but I just haven’t…been in the mood? And I’m trying to conquer all these reading lists I set for myself haha.

I only read all the Dresden Files 2 years ago! I marathon read them over the course of a year, with 1 to 2 books per month. They’re really quick reads so it was actually pretty easy to catch up.

I think the only time I’ve anticipated a 1* read was the third Fifty Shades of Grey book. A friend lent me her three books. I read the first and it just wasn’t really for me, I pressed on with the second but by the third there was no way so I would anticipate a 1* read. (Just to be clear though, I know a lot of people loved this series but I couldn’t really cotton onto it).
