Favorite Five Books with Pink Covers
Wow, this was a lot tougher than I thought it would be. Turns out there are not a ton of SFF books that have pink-ish covers! Romance on the other hand….Β Who would have thought? I wonder why that is? Hmmmmm. ;PΒ Anyway, had to fudge this one a bit so now it’s Pink-ISH covers, ah well.
Beneath the Sugar Sky by Seanan McGuire
Well, this one has a lot of pink in it. And it’s a good fit for the story, with this one of the Wayward Children series taking place in the candy land portal world. Of course you’d want the cover to be ‘sweet’. I guess pink does make you think of cotton candy.
The Spirit Eater by Rachel Aaron
This is the third book of Rachel Aaron’s The Legend of Eli Monpress series and it’s quite fun. I think I have one or two more books to go to finish up this series, looking forward to it!
Den of Wolves by Juliet Marillier
I love the covers of this series and I’m reminded that I should pick up some physical copies of them to grace my shelves because I only have them in audio. This is the last book in the Blackthorn & Grim trilogy and I can’t tell you enough how much I absolutely love this series. It’s amazing and I should also reread these books soon!
Under the Pendulum Sun by Jeanette Ng
Okay so this is probably more purple than pink but I love this cover and book so very much I’m including it in this list. First off, that cover! It’s amazing and one of my favorite covers of recent times. The story is also fantastic, wonderfully weird and gothic and goes to some dark places. My type of strange for sure. π
Dragonquest by Anne McCaffrey
Well, McCaffrey’s work hasn’t all aged that well, but Pern is still one of my first loves of the SFF genres. I absolutely love all of the artwork for the covers, much of which was done by Michael Whelan. Huge fan.
Well, those are my picks for this week, such as they are. What are some of your favorites with pink covers? Can you think of many SFF books with pink in the covers? This was tough! Leave a note in the comments, I’d love to chat!
The pink cover that immediately came to mind for me is The Merciless by Danielle Vega. I love your choices, especially Under the Pendulum Sunπ
I had to look that one up, it is very pink indeed! π
Thanks, Under the Pendulum Sun is such a great book.
My favorites here are Den of Wolves and Under the Pendulum Sun. I can’t think of any favorites myself though. Happy Friday! β€π§‘π
Thanks, I’m partial to those as well. π
Under the Pendulum Sun looks fantastic! And I adore The Legend of Eli Monpress series.
It’s a great book, but very strange. Luckily I love weird things! π
Den of Wolves! All the covers for that series are gorgeous. And yes, the physical hardcover set looks amazing on a shelf π
They really are. I have them all on audio, I should probably get physical copies at some point because they’re gorgeous. π
Under the Pendulum Sun has a great design. I hope I get to read it before year’s end.
It’s a real atmospheric read. Hope you enjoy!
The Marillier book is so lovely isn’t it – I love the covers for that series.

Yes, the covers are great. I want to get a set for my shelves, I only have thr audiobooks for these.
Ugggh the newer Juliet Marillier covers are just so. good. π And I admit, Under the Pendulum Sun was a total cover buy for me. I still haven’t picked it up yet. π
Yes, Marillier covers have been on point the last several books. Those Blackthorn and Grim covers are all β€β€β€β€ π
ooh I love these covers!!
They’re great, aren’t they?
