Well, last week was interesting. I didn’t get much reading done at all. I just…wasn’t feeling it. Probably depression. So I finished up marathoning all of Veronica Mars through Thursday and pretty much did zero reading, except with audiobooks. I at least managed to finish two books, both in audio, one SFF, and one thriller. The thriller was okay, but a pretty average book overall. Still, sometimes it’s nice to take a break from SFF to read another genre. I was going to catch up on reading over the weekend, but, I was just tired and also had a bunch of other things to take care of (like getting a flat tire fixed–yay).
On the other hand, I did catch up on blogging! I’m now only one review behind and have gotten a ton of other posts pre-scheduled so things on that front are going good right now. I’m hoping I’ll have some time this week to catch up one reading once things settle down with the HVAC stuff. The only thing I have going on this week is a baseball game with my friend Saturday, but that’s not until the evening so should still be able to get plenty of book time in. *crossing my fingers for a more productive reading week ahead*
I’m a good chunk of the way through Under Ordshaw by Phil Williams and enjoying it so far. This world is really intriguing to me, something new, I like the feel of it.
Next up is still An Illusion of Thieves by Cate Glass. Still really looking forward to this one. If all goes according to plan, should be able to get through this one no problem.
I started The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon last week, but I’m only about half an hour into the audio and it’s over 25 hours. I’m not even entirely sure I’ll finish it by the end of this week, but I’m going to try because I have a lot of other audiobooks I need to get through–my audio queue is getting a bit ridiculous.
That’s it for this week, although a part of me is hoping I’ll be able to crush reading and sneak another book or two in. As always, we’ll see how it goes. What are your plans this week? Reading anything awesome? Leave a note in the comments, I’d love to chat!
Easy reading week for me, I’m going to finish One Word Kill by Mark Lawrence. It’s only 200 pages so if I don’t, there’s a problem lol.
Sounds like a nice relaxing reading week then! Have fun with that one! 🙂
Oh under ordshaw is on me list! Can’t wait to hear what ye think of it.

So far it’s pretty interesting!
I feel like I’ve been reading but then I look at my progress and realize I’m still behind! Oh well, at least what I have been reading has been really good! I’m reading a futuristic thriller about self driving cars called Three Laws Lethal and it’s a ton of fun😁
As long as you’re enjoying yourself that’s all that really matters! :D. That book does sound good.
This week continues to be WORDS OF RADIANCE forever and always. I read SO MUCH this weekend and I am….40% done lol.
To be fair, it’s a HUGE book. I have a feeling I’m going to be reading Priory for a while lol.
Nice job! I need to take page from your work ethic, I’m three reviews behind, oops!
Three isn’t bad at all! I’m sure I’d be way more behind except I didn’t finish many books last week lol.
Yeah, I’ve been having fairly slow progress on books – but, like you, I’ve nearly caught up on reviews.
Swings and roundabouts i suppose 😀

Right. Seems I’m always behind on either one or the other. Only so much time!
