The Sunday Post #45

thesundaypost

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Random News And Goings-On

A lot’s been going on this week! Well, not much progress on the house stuff as the builders didn’t show up most of the week. Not sure why! Uh…so yeah. Maybe stuff will be done this week. Maybe not. I guess? *shrug*

Other than that, I just haven’t been sleeping well. Been having a TON of anxiety and depression. Yay!

Yesterday was my birthday though, it was low-key and relaxing and that was nice!

I’m off work for five days starting Wednesday so I’m excited for that. I also have a job interview on Wednesday for an office manager position that seems promising so maybe some good news on the job hunt front! We’ll see how things go. Either way this week looks like it will be busy with some things but I hope to enjoy some of my downtime.

New Book Arrivals at Way Too Fantasy

Physical Books

Lot’s of new books this week to show off, what with it being my birthday and some of my orders starting to roll in. πŸ™‚

My Goldsboro Fellowship edition of The Bone Shard Daughter by Andrea Stewart came in! It’s so pretty! I also picked up a copy of Piranesi by Susanna Clark because I keep hearing amazing things about it and also it’s sooooo pretty with the dust jacket taken off.

My husband picked me up some books off my book wishlist–a bunch of Marillier books that I’ve already read but which I didn’t have physical copies of and I wanted them for re-reading purposes. So now I have all of the Blackthorn and Grim books as well as the first in her new Warrior Bards series. πŸ˜€

Anyway. As you can see my physical book buying ban has been officially abandoned haha. Welp. 2020!

Ebooks

Only a couple of ebooks this week. My pre-order of Ten Thousand Stitches by Olivia Atwater showed up! So exciting! I read it and loved it, I’m in awe of her writing–she writes such wonderful fantasy romance. I also picked up a copy of Bitter Greens by Kate Forsythe. This was on sale and I couldn’t resist!

Audiobooks

No new audiobooks this week but I did get my credits a couple of days ago so I’m sure I’ll either be picking up some new reads OR submitting some pre-orders for later. πŸ™‚

That’s the news for now! Hopefully I’ll be able to catch up with blog stuff soon. πŸ™‚

One of my friends really loved Bitter Greens so I’ve been meaning to grab a copy for a while, this was a good opportunity. πŸ™‚

Thank you! Will definitely keep that in mind. I think it’s just my regular depression which gets worse this time of year plus anxiety about, well, everything haha. Hopefully some of that will clear up soon!
