Things feel like they’re moving both really fast and really slow somehow and what is even time anymore? I’ve somehow managed to finish three books this past week – two from my TBR and one romance novel because hey why not? (Also it was an alt-history so I guess I could count it as spec fic if I squint real hard.) Anyway, three books isn’t bad at all considering I feel like I’m hardly doing any reading lately. Probably because I’m doing most of my reading 1) through audiobooks as I multi-task and 2) late at night while in bed because who needs sleep anyway!
But before I get into my reading, this week’s schedule for the con! We have a jam-packed week ahead of us so stop on by and hang out with some of the authors we have scheduled!

Whew, that’s a lot!
I started The Heart Forger by Rin Chupeco in audio late last week and haven’t gotten too far into it yet. I had to listen to the end of the first book again because I was really confused starting this one–turns out that didn’t help much with my confusion haha. I forgot that this story is in two different timelines and was like ‘wait, what is happening, I don’t remember any of this…’. Anyway, good to be back in this world! Hopefully will be able to finish it this week – I have some gardening and craft projects ahead of me so hopefully prime audiobook time. 😀
In print, I plan on starting my eARC of Dragon Unleashed by Grace Draven. I’ve been looking forward to this for so long! First of all–that cover! Secondly, I just love Grace Draven’s work. She writes the kind of genre blends that’s my cup of tea. Plus, dragon!! So. Excite.
Not sure how my progress on these will go but hopefully good and maybe I’ll be able to dip into a third book this week, but we’ll see. I’ve still been super busy with virtual con stuff and now I’m doing crafts and other household projects because keeping busy seems to be the name of the game right now for me. What are you reading this week? Leave a note in the comments, I’d love to chat!
Enjoy your reading!

Thanks, Evelyn! You too!
I’m excited to start Grace Draven’s book too, although I probably won’t get to it right away. Good luck with your very busy virtual schedule this week!
I think I’m reading it earlier than I normally would because it’s sort of a mood read for me. I usually love her books so I’m pretty sure I’ll enjoy it.
Thanks, Tammy! Have a great week!
Am loving the Dragon Unleashed cover and want to read it because of that.
This week, I’m reading Vicious and am mad hooked but I stopped reading for a bit to focus on the audiobook of Long Bright River by Liz Moore. OMG! I was so hooked. It’s a bit of a mystery, kinda, set in Philly and touches on the opioid crisis. The narrator does a great job.
I love Grace Draven anyway but yes I can’t deny i was also drawn in by that cover. 😍
I’ve been wanting to read that Schwab series! Looking forward to your thoughts on both of these. Hope you have a great week!
Oh, I hope to listen to the podcast soon! And this week I hope to finish The Wheel of Osheim by M. Lawrence. I am enjoying it, but I am going sooooo slow!
I hope you enjoy the podcast if you get to it. 🙂 Good luck with your reading. I feel like all of mine has been slow lately.
FEELS! What is time even?! I mean, I honestly don’t know where this month has gone because it’s already almost the last week of April and … I feel like this month has just been completely useless because I haven’t accomplished anything? 😂 Hope you manage to enjoy your reads and craft projects though!
I just did a double take – THE LAST WEEK OF APRIL HOW – lol, yes, what is time??? I don’t know where this month has gone either this has been so weird. I kind of feel the same. Thanks! I’m doing some mood reading and that’s been pretty great. 🙂
I don’t know where this month is going. It just seems to be flying by and I feel like I’m desperately trying to catch up. Next month should be good for that though as most of my review books have had their dates put back. Phew.
Lynn 😀
I know exactly what you mean though! March seemed to take forever and April has been like ‘wait, we had an April? When????’ Good luck with your reading, Lynn!
