The first battle is already over, but the big fight for good and evil is yet to come: The young Fallon leads their army to Washington D.C., to drive the black magic out of the world. She is the chosen one to rebuild the world after the apocalypse and unite her inhabitants. There is a great burden on the young woman, because the family of her father’s murderer seeks revenge on her and her sweetheart. But Fallon’s mission is now easier than the interpretation of her feelings for Duncan, whose fate is inevitably tied to hers.
Another conclusion to a series I’ve been enjoying. So many series I’ve been reading are ending this year and next. 😀 I’m very excited for this one. I do feel like the second book had a bit of a middle book feel to it at times, but I can’t wait to see what it was building up to in this finale. The Rise of the Magicks is expected November 26th, 2019 from St. Martin’s Press.
You know I never read a Nora Roberts book. I am interested in this series though and keep forgetting to grab it. Thank you for reminding me
The first one was my first Nora Roberts–this despite being a huge romance fan and also Roberts being a somewhat local author. Idk what took me so long, it happens sometimes I guess lol!
I’m waiting (not very patiently) for this one too!
So excited for it! 🙂
Ooo it’s going to be goooood!
I really hope so! I’m super excited for it. 🙂
I’ve never read a Nora Roberts book, at least not one she wrote under her own name, though I think I’ve read a couple under her pseudonym J.D. Robb. She’s written a couple books recently that are more fantasy, I’ve been curious to check them out 😀
The first one is really good, I was impressed. The second one, well, you can see the romance roots showing through a bit, but that’s not a detractor for me, lol. 🙂
I’ve not read this series and unless the God of Time endows me with lots more hours in the day then I probably won’t get a chance to go back and start but I hope the final instalment ends well and you love it.
Lynn 😀
Thanks! Yeah, I hear ya on that time thing for sure. 🙂
