Received an ARC and not reviewedΒ  X

Nope! So far I’ve reviewed every one I’ve received. Right now I’m at the level where I can mostly keep up with things but maybe this will change one day.

Have less than 60% feedback rating on NetGalley X

Currently rocking a 70%. Whew!

Rated a book on Goodreads and promised a full review was to come on you blog (and never did) X

I guess it depends what you mean by never? Sometimes it takes a month or so to get my review up there, but if I say ‘full review to follow shortly’ a review will be posted. Eventually. So I would say no!

Folded down the page of a book √

Um, I have been known to dog ear paperbacks on occasion.

Accidentally spilled on a book √

Yes. Well, I’m a terrible klutz.

DNF a book this year X

Hmm, I don’t really ‘DNF’ things because I always intend to go back and finish them eventually. But I finished every book I started this year so, phew!

Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it √

Oh yes. Most recently the new Earthsea book illustrated by Charles Vess.

Read whilst you were meant to be doing something else (like homework, etc.) √

Of course! Usually while I’m supposed to be cleaning. Or writing reviews. Or sometimes while I’m supposed to be working. (shhhhh.)

Skim read a book X

Not yet. πŸ˜€

Completely missed your Goodreads goal X

So far, so good.

Borrowed a book and not returned it X

No, I’m good about returning books. I may be late getting things back sometimes, but I do get them back.

Broke a book buying ban X

Nope, because I’ve never put myself on a book buying ban. πŸ˜€

Started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about X

Hahaha. Um, not yet. I can totally see this happening to me though. But so far I’ve been able to remember the things I wanted to discuss about books even if it’s been a little while.

Wrote in a book you were reading X

No! I’ll put sticky tabs there sometimes to mark things I want to go back to, but never write in a book.

Finished a book and not added it to your Goodreads X

Never. I like to count all the books I read towards my year end goal.

Borrowed a book and not returned it to a friend X

Nope, because I’ve had friends not return books to me too many times, lol.

Dodged someone asking if they can borrow a book √

Uh, possibly, because see above.

Broke the spine of someone else’s book X

Hell no. That’s just inconsiderate.

Took the jacket off a book to protect it and ended up making it more damaged X

Nope! I sometimes take the jackets off while reading but then put them back on. Never had one get damaged in between.

Sat on a book accidentally √

Hahaha, yes.

6/20! Looks like I came out on the Nice side of things, phew! Hopefully Santa will treat me well. πŸ˜‰Β  As per usual, not going to tag anyone, but if you want to fill this out, consider yourself tagged!

I once had a friend insist she never borrowed one of my books even though I know she did. Something like 10 years later she was giving away a bunch of books and I took them for a book drive I was helping with…lo and behold my book was in there! Lol So…..yeah. πŸ™‚

      Thanks!

Oh wow! That really sucks! I’ve had people just keep rereading books of mine than give back a book- in fact someone still has my copy of the night circus cos they wouldn’t stop rereading it and then left the country… so yeah, I stopped lending books to most people. Sorry to hear you had such a sucky experience! People do that way too often, don’t they?
