No real post today because time has finally caught up with me. I was meant to post a review of The Unbroken (it was really really good–definitely recommend) but it looks like that might be my goal for Thursday now. Just too tired from running around getting life things done and I let my intentions get the better of me. And despite sleeping a full night (well, not entirely, the cat did wake me up twice wanting food), I’m still really, really tired. So instead of getting up early and working on my review this morning I just stayed in bed and read for a bit before finally dragging myself out from the comfort to face the morning. Hopefully will get back on track by tomorrow. Until then, enjoy your reading.
I understand the feeling. Make sure to rest π (I always forget to do thatπ)
Thank you!
I do too which is why I think I got so tired lol.
Hope you get some rest, Lisa. β€
Thank you! β€

Thanks, Evelyn!
Enjoy your reading and take care of yourself!
Thank you!
Take it easy now, your happiness and wellbeing comes first π And gosh, I know what it feels like never seeming to get enough sleep!
Thank you! I’m feeling a little more refreshed now although I might not really make an effort to get caught up until the weekend. I’m enjoying relaxing and reading right now. π
Being “mutinous” now and then, and deciding to follow one’s impulses rather than daily obligations, is always GOOD for the soul! π
Hah! Yeah, well, we definitely all need a break now and then. π
“Just too tired from running around getting life things done” is a definite mood. Having a slow and lazy morning reading in bed sounds absolutely perfect and just what’s needed! I hope you have a good day/week. Take care of yourself β€οΈ
ooh, I’m looking forward to that review of the unbroken!
Hopefully will have it out Sunday. π
I relate to that woken sleep pattern. My dog is almost sixteen and he wakes me up every night, – can be any time, no particular pattern – to make a bathroom call. In fairness to the little old fella, at least he still recognises the urge and wakes me up rather than just finding puddles round the house. Still broken sleep, every night.
Take care
Lynn π
Yeah, that’s rough. I usually do get woken up at least once at night now, sometimes twice. In some ways I’m used to it but after a while it can wear on you!
Yep. I love the little fella so that does make me less grumpy but after a few nights of broken sleep I do feel exhausted.
