Drowned Country is the haunting follow-up to Emily Tesh’s lush, folkoric debut, Silver in the Wood.
Last time I checked goodreads this didn’t have a blurb yet but you know what? It doesn’t need it because if you’ve read and loved Silver in the Wood, such as I did, the book sells itself. I am SO EXCITED for this book, I can’t even tell you. Drowned Country is set to come out June 16th, 2020 from Tor.com.

Yes! I loved Silver in the Wood so much I just can’t wait.
I like that cover! It’s sort of memorizing in its own way – giving you enough details to figure out what it is, but not enough to understand it all in one glance. Soon you find yourself looking at it again and again.
The cover is gorgeous! I loved the cover for Silver in the Wood as well, although I think this one is more atmospheric. 🙂
I just noticed this one pop up on NetGalley today and was like ooooohhhhh over the cover. Then I realized it was a sequel and I’m kicking myself for not having read Silver in the Wood…I really should have gone for it when I had the chance 🙂
