Enjoy Your Weekend

No FFF post today, life has gotten pretty overwhelming the last few days and I sort of lost track of almost everything. Not my depression for once though, just a series of crap events all converging at once–the perfect shit storm, let’s call it.

On top of all the relatively minor stuff (broken tv, car repairs, etc) I think one of my kitty cats is slowly dying and I thought I might have to take her in to have her put down today, but she’s doing much better this morning and I will make a vet appointment for next week to see if there’s anything to be done. There’s also some other major stuff which I won’t go into because I don’t need to air my dirty laundry all over the internet, but suffice to say it’s been a rough few days and I don’t know what lies ahead for me right now, as far as my personal life.

In reading news, I haven’t made much progress this week. I’m hoping to make a dent in things this weekend though! This is the last weekend until the end of the month where I don’t have firm plans to do something so I’ll be working on some home projects and trying to finish up my audiobook. Any time other than that I hope to get to my print books. You’d think this would be easy without a tv as distraction but I can easily binge watch Netflix on my phone these days so…welp.

Sorry I haven’t been blog hopping and responding to comments, hope to get to some of that soon. But in the mean time, I’ll be in my blanket fort pretending the world doesn’t exist because that’s just how I deal with things I guess. Have a great weekend, everyone! Hopefully next week things will be a little more normal around here.

Sounds rough and ye haven’t been having the best of luck these past few weeks. I am sending a hug to ye and yer kitten. I hope ye can find some time to pamper yerself. Blanket fort sounds like a good place to start. Stay strong. Arrrr!

Sending hugs, Lisa! Hang in there, hopefully this is just a rough patch and things will smooth out soon. I feel terrible about your kittie, sending good thoughts to both of you.

I’m sorry you’re having a difficult time, Lisa. Take care of yourself and give your kitty a hug for me. Hugs XOXO ❤

Thanks. She’s had ups and downs and Thursday was the worst down, she wouldn’t even get out of her cat bed for most of the day. She’s eating again now though I know she’ll have another episode so I still need to take her in to get looked at. The sucky thing is if it’s some really expensive treatment, I just can’t afford it right now so I’m stressed about that and a bunch of other stuff. Oh well.

Sorry to hear things aren’t great right now. I do hope things will start to look up soon. A blanket fort sounds like the best thing to do to take a break from it all.

Thank you! I won’t be able to take my cat to the vet til Sunday but she’s through the latest episode and seems to be feeling a lot better for now. I still think it’s not going to be good news but we’ll see how it goes.

As I’m working my way back through your posts I already know that things seemed to have picked up for you recently and I hope that continues.
It’s so overwhelming when one of your pets is poorly though – I completely understand how that feels and what with all the other things that have happened recently it can certainly feel a bit overwhelming.
    Hugs.

Thanks, Lynn. She is doing a bit better the last couple of weeks. I think next time she has an episode will be when I take her in. I’ve been scared because I don’t want bad news. It can definitely be stressful.
