This Week in Reading: Finally Progress! But Not All Caught Up Yet

Hello all. This past week has been another week of ups and downs. Still dealing with my depression, but despite that I managed to finish four books–three in audio and one physical book. Of course, the physical book wasn’t either of the two I was supposed to be reading last week, but I’m not going to argue with myself at this point lol.

I’m staying current with blogging stuff at least, even if I’m not ahead. And I’ll have my monthly recap coming up this week as well as the check in for my Autumn TBR List.

So I still have Master of the World by Edward Willett and Dreams of the Dark Sky by Tina LeCount Myers on my list for this week. We’ll see how it goes! All depends on my mood. It’s not as if I’m not excited for these, I just can’t seem to muster up the excitement for reading print books at all right now, with a few exceptions apparently. I’ve started Master of the World, however, and hope to have it done in a few days.

For audio, I polled twitter to see what I should read next and the people have spoken–going with City of Lies by Sam Hawke. I’ve been meaning to read this one for a while, so I’m pretty excited to get to it. Next up will be Soul of the Sword by Julie Kagawa because I really need to do a better job of keeping up with sequels.

So, those are my plans this week, but expect them to go off the rails at any time. I am pretty confident in the audiobooks though. πŸ™‚ What are you reading this week? Leave a note in the comments, I’d love to chat!

I hope you’re able to get into your print books. I’m with you on feeling depressed. I swear it’s seasonal with the loss of light. Happens to me every year whether I take vitamin D or not! πŸ€” Hope you feel better soon.

Hey, I’m the queen of “being behind” so join the club! I barely scratched the surface of my September TBR and October is out of control. I’m going to just try to roll with it😁
