Power is much easier to acquire than it is to hold onto. Jude learned this lesson when she released her control over the wicked king, Cardan, in exchange for immeasurable power.
Now as the exiled mortal Queen of Faerie, Jude is powerless and left reeling from Cardan’s betrayal. She bides her time determined to reclaim everything he took from her. Opportunity arrives in the form of her deceptive twin sister, Taryn, whose mortal life is in peril.
Jude must risk venturing back into the treacherous Faerie Court, and confront her lingering feelings for Cardan, if she wishes to save her sister. But Elfhame is not as she left it. War is brewing. As Jude slips deep within enemy lines she becomes ensnared in the conflict’s bloody politics.
And, when a dormant yet powerful curse is unleashed, panic spreads throughout the land, forcing her to choose between her ambition and her humanity…
I am SO EXCITED for this final book in The Folk of the Air trilogy from Holly Black. This series has been a surprise to me. Based on the description, there are things about it I should hate, but it’s so utterly engaging you can’t help but be pulled into it. Very much looking forward to this conclusion. The Queen of Nothing is expected November 19th, 2019 from Little, Brown.
YAAAAS!!
So hyped!
Aah I CAN’T wait for this one! Luckily November is not that far away..

Yep! So excited for it!
YES I’m so excited about this one coming out!!
I think this must be one of the most anticipated books this fall! 😀
Yes, I can’t wait! I hope to do this one in audio, like I did with the first two books.
Surprisingly, I didn’t do the audio for these. I just power read the first two back to back in a weekend, they were so…un-put-down-able lol.
I’m soooo excited for this too!!!! I can’t wait!
I think when I comes out I’m just going to stop whatever I’m reading and pick this one up. 😀
I often hear people say how dark and wonderful this series is. I do hope the finale will be exactly what you’re looking for! 😀
Thanks! It is much darker than I was expecting going into it but I love it. Hope it is too! 🙂
Eek – I love Holly Black so much, but I still have to catch up with No.2 – which I expect to love but it’s that battle of bought vs review books.
Lynn 😀
Book 2 is sooooooooo good. This is the first series I’ve read by her. I need to go back and read some of her other stuff.
Ahh I’m so excited too!!
I’m on pins and needles! 😀
