When sisters Muna and Sakti wake up on the peaceful beach of the island of Janda Baik, they can’t remember anything, except that they are bound as only sisters can be. They have been cursed by an unknown enchanter, and slowly Sakti starts to fade away. The only hope of saving her is to go to distant Britain, where the Sorceress Royal has established an academy to train women in magic.
If Muna is to save her sister, she must learn to navigate high society, and trick the English magicians into believing she is a magical prodigy. As she’s drawn into their intrigues, she must uncover the secrets of her past, and journey into a world with more magic than she had ever dreamed.
I was excited when I found out this book was coming out because I loved Sorcerer to the Crown (such a fun story with lovely characters). Looking forward to this one a lot! The True Queen comes out March 12th 2019 from Ace.
This sounds pretty good! Hope you enjoy it. 😉
Thanks!
Wow, Lisa, this sounds terrific! I don’t blame you for wanting to read it!
Thanks! The first one was a lot of fun so I have high hopes for the sequel. 🙂
I can’t believe I haven’t read Sorcerer to the Crown yet. Now I have a reason to catch up!
It was a fun read, really looking forward to this sequel. 🙂
Magic and sister-themed?! SIGN ME UP!
It sounds so amazing!
I really enjoyed Sorcerer! Even though this is following new characters, I wish I still had a copy (I believe I borrowed the original) to skim read ahead of time to remind myself of some of the specifics….
Yeah, it’s been a little while between books and I remember most of it I think but could probably also do with a refresher myself, lol.
I’ve had my eyes on this one too. Great choice!
Thanks! Hope you enjoy it too!
Yes! It feels like I’ve been waiting forever for this one!
Me too!
Yep – I can’t wait for this one.
Lynn 😀
Hope you enjoy it!
