Set in a darkly glamorous world The Gilded Wolves is full of mystery, decadence and
dangerous but thrilling adventure.
Paris, 1889: The world is on the cusp of industry and power, and the Exposition Universelle has breathed new life into the streets and dredged up ancient secrets. In this city, no one keeps tabs on secrets better than treasure-hunter and wealthy hotelier, Séverin Montagnet-Alarie. But when the all-powerful society, the Order of Babel, seeks him out for help, Séverin is offered a treasure that he never imagined: his true inheritance. To find the ancient artifact the Order seeks, Séverin will need help from a band of experts: An engineer with a debt to pay. A historian who can’t yet go home. A dancer with a sinister past. And a brother in all but blood, who might care too much.
Together, they’ll have to use their wits and knowledge to hunt the artifact through the dark and glittering heart of Paris. What they find might change the world, but only if they can stay alive.
I’m a huge fan of Roshani Chokshi’s writing. I LOVED both A Crown of Wishes and The Star-Touched Queen so I’m really looking forward to reading more of her work. The Gilded Wolves comes out January 15th 2019 from St. Martin’s Press.
I’m very excited to read this too! I was turned down for a review copy on NetGalley but I will most likely buy it at some point😊
Same. I’m super excited for this one too because I’ve loved her previous work.
I saw this on NetGalley and almost requested it. Sounds so good! I hope you love it like her others. 😁❤
Thanks! I’ve heard good things so far so even more hyped now!
If I wasn’t limiting myself, I’d request it right now just based on what you’ve said about the author. I have to wait though! Only 4 more reviews and I’ll be caught up. 😂
I haven’t read anything by Choskhi yet, but this one is definitely on my radar
I’ve heard good things so far about this one.
YES this looks amazing!!
Right?!?! So excited!
I enjoyed Crown of Wishes and The Star-Touched Queen as well! If I get some time next month, I’d really like to try this one too.
Hopefully I’ll be able to squeeze it in when it comes out myself, I’m so behind on things atm!
Oh, I’m excited for this book too. The early reviewers have been raving about it and comparing it to Six of Crows. I cannot wait to read it.
Yeah, I have heard good things too!
I loved this book so much and seriously cannot WAIT for everyone else to be able to read it!
My excitement level keeps increasing! Lol
I love the sound of this one and the cover is amazing – but I doubt I’ll get to it tbh. Trying to play catch up after December.
Lynn 😀
I feel like I’m perpetually trying to play catch up so I get it. I’m behind on a lot of things and there are so many books I’m looking forward to that are coming out next year…I doubt I’ll get to all of them.
I definitely want to read this too!
I’ve heard so many good things about it so far.
