A couple of announcements and a reminder, huzzah!

Just wanted to let you all know about some things we have planned for the near future as well as announce a new member of the WtF team.

We are super excited to announce that writer CJ Casey has joined the staff of Way too Fantasy as an editor of serials and novellas. CJ is a multi-talented individual and we are looking forward to his various contributions to WtF. You can find out more about CJ by visiting his website:  http://www.bovisrex.com

You may have already seen, but we finally have podcasts! One of the things we like doing most is discussing books, authors, writing, and fantasy in all its many forms. Now we can let everyone in on our discussion too. We plan on doing podcasts once a week, usually on Wednesdays, although that may vary according to scheduling (but we’ll keep you updated). If we can get a regular time set then we’ll let you know in case anyone wants to watch the broadcast live and chime in with questions and such. If anyone out there has any topics they want us to cover, suggestions, or is interested in joining in on a future podcast, please let us know.

We have a few guest posts coming up in the next couple of weeks on a wide variety of  topics, including some artwork we’re featuring. One topic may or may not involve He-Man. Just putting that out there. So, if you have something fantasy related (movie review, book review, need to tell everyone how awesome your D&D adventure is, really it can be pretty much anything) that you want to talk about in a guest spot, send us a note, we don’t bite (unless you’re into that sort of thing).

Submissions for the next issue are due by August 15th so you have a little less than a month to get your stuff to us. Please submit your pieces on time and in the proper form. We only ask this so that we are not pulling sixteen hour all-nighter shifts again when it comes down to the few days before publication. See the Submission Guidelines if you’re planning to submit. If you have any questions at all, don’t be afraid to ask! Leave a comment or email us at wtfdigest@gmail.com.
